Town of Land O’Lakes Saves

With the acquisition of this Chevrolet Blazer including refurbishing, the Town saved over half the cost of buying new.  This 4 wheel drive vehicle serves as a rescue unit.  During the winter months with a flatbed trailer, the Blazer can go into difficult to reach areas and is capable of carrying the injured on a sled as well as snowmobiles to safety.  During the summer months it also assists the airport in any off runway accidents.  The Town is an active user of the program and continues to save money for their tax payers.
